Terms of Use

Conditions for Participating in the Collective

These terms outline the rules for using our studio space, attending workshops, and taking part in exhibitions and public art projects. By joining Panache Association, you agree to the responsibilities described below.

1. Scope of Services

Panache Association provides shared studio access, mentorship pairings, workshop instruction, and opportunities to exhibit work in group shows and community mural projects. All programming is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and participation in specific events may require separate registration.

2. Member Responsibilities

Members are expected to respect shared equipment, clean up after each session, and credit the collective when presenting work created in the studio. When participating in mural projects, you agree to follow the lead artist's safety guidelines and to complete assigned sections within the agreed timeline.

3. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the artwork you create. By exhibiting in our gallery or open-studio events, you grant Panache Association a non-exclusive license to photograph and document the work for promotional purposes. For collaborative murals, copyright is shared among participating artists unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Liability and Safety

While we take reasonable precautions to maintain a safe environment, members and visitors use the studio and workshop spaces at their own risk. Panache Association is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings, nor for injuries sustained during unsupervised use of equipment. Ceramics kiln operation is restricted to trained staff only.

5. Termination of Access

Membership may be revoked if a participant repeatedly violates safety rules, damages equipment, or disrupts the collaborative atmosphere of the studio. In such cases, written notice will be provided, and any unused workshop sessions will be honored through the end of the current term.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our programming or legal requirements. Members will be notified of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued participation after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

For questions about these terms or to raise a concern, contact us at info@associationpanach.com or call +27113751882. Our studio is located at 793 Mthethwa Highway, New Phindile, LP 3656.
